A set of very (if not extremely) rare 718 loungechairs by Dirk van Sliedregt voor 'Gebroeders Jonkers' approx. 1954.

Large rattan back on chrome base with leatherette seat. These chairs come straight from an attic where they have been over the last 40 yrs. I personally never have seen these chairs before. I know that there's one in the collection of the 'Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam'. A variant example is known, model 568. Rattan back & seat with black metal base. These I have come across before. I guess this set is intended for the collector who wants to add these to his Dutch Design collection.
