Sideboard by Inger Klingenberg (1932-1977) for Fristho Franeker, 1960.

Inger Klingenberg was married to the American designer Ross Littell co-worker of Charles & Ray Eames. She belonged to the group Danish designers that was strongly influenced by the American designers (using new materials in their furniture). Poul Kjaerholm was also one of those Danish designers. His PK22 chair is a good example of this innovation of Danish design.

Indonesian rosewood veneered sideboard with seagrass door panels, solid rosewood doorhandles and polished steel base with solid rosewood shoes.

This is a rare sideboard, especially in this restored condition.
