PAR6 coffeetable by Bernard Vuarnesson for Bellato, Italy, 1970's

PAR6 modular coffee table by French designer Bernard Vuarnesson for Bellato, Italy 1970's. Six pull out table tops. Irokko wooden frame. Each top has a black or orange side which can be composed into different color combinations and shapes. This is the much sought after orange/black combination. Manufacturer 'Bellato' stopped existing in the 1980's and this design was sold to 'Sculptures Jeux'. The coffee table offered here concerns an early and original Bellato table. Bernard Vuarnesson has an engineering degree from Ecole Supérieure du Bois (university college of wood) and a civil engineering degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers de Paris.
